Please note that the cost of printing and mailing is not included. If it is a short run of mail outs it can easily be done on your own printer or photo copier, or outsourced to your local print shop. Short run mail outs usually involve stamped mail. If you’re planning on a large mail out then a service such as Australia Post or Salmat etc. will be the most cost effective. In the old days when I first started in IT, Web Design was magical. There was no such thing as a content management system, you had to code in HTML and PHP and a few other languages and when something got updated, your site broke, so costs were expensive and you needed actual computer programmers to build and maintain your web site.

As everything became standardised and systems became available to manage your own web site, it got a lot easier and soon we had online web companies offering FREE, EASY to build sites. These are neither free nor easy, and regular web companies tried to cling to their old pricing regimes.

Nothing is for free. I don’t believe I know of any philanthropic web companies. The free sites are very limited and I would stake my reputation to say they are next to useless for business thus you need to upgrade for a price and keep upgrading to get what you need.
